Q.683

There are four versions (excluding lithographs): two as paintings, two as pastels. The two paintings are in the National Gallery of Oslo and in a museum named after the artist. The museum also holds one of the pastel versions.

Leon Black, an American businessman, bought the other pastel version in May 2012 for a 120 million dollars, making it the most expensive sale at a public auction ever.
