The editor M.S.Shinde (who passed away in 2012) is perhaps best known to quizzers for being the only member of the "Sholay" crew to win a Filmfare Award (for the year 1975). That year, the big awards for Best Film, Best Director, and Best Story went to another film.
Incidentally, the director of that film also has a film release in 2012 - which, ironically, shares its name with something to do with "Sholay". Which was the 1975 film and director?
