In a statement released in early April, the Governor of New York Andrew Cuomo said that he was happy to welcome this iconic media show back to New York (where it was based for most of its sixty year run) from Los Angeles. The move, which will happen in 2014, will also include a new host in Jimmy Fallon, a New Yorker.
