The last G-20 summit was held in Cannes, France, in November 2011 (Q.414 was based on it). These meetings bring together Heads of States and Governments from the top 20 economies of the world, and they certainly have a lot to talk about given the state of the world.

The 2012 edition was held in Mexico in June 2012. As preparation for this summit, representatives from these 20 economies met in January to plan and collaborate in advance so as to make the summit as successful as possible. Montek Singh Ahluwahlia went on behalf of India.
