Given the number of marathon matches in men's tennis in recent times, the ATP has announced some changes to tennis rules. One of them will be trialed in the first quarter of 2013 on the Challenger Tour. This change is unlikely to speed up matches dramatically, but should improve the rhythm of service games.

Some critics wonder whether this will add an additional factor of luck to the outcome of points, but others feel it will all even out. What tiny yet significant change is this?
