In the film "Heroine", it was by Kareena Kapoor. In "Gangs of Wasseypur", by Manoj Bajpai. For most films, it was by one of the lead actors. Since September 2012, all films that meet a certain criterion need to have this, if they are to obtain certification from the the Central Board of Film Certification.
Filmmakers seem to prefer this, rather than a scrolling ticker in the middle of their films. What is this new addition to Indian films?

Films (those who have scenes showing smoking) must now carry a anti-smoking message before the film begins, and just after it resumes after the interval. This must be a voiceover by one of the lead actors of the film.
