The 2013 Tour de France was a tough one for British cyclist Mark Cavendish. He was involved in a collision with the Dutch cyclist Tom Veelers on a stage finish which left the Dutchman on the ground. Though Cavendish was cleared of any wrong doing, many of the opinionated race spectators thought otherwise.
The next day, an angry fan threw something at Cavendish during the next time trial, which to his credit, Cavendish didn't make too much of a fuss about.
