Kevin Maher is a New York-based investor who, in March 2014, filed a class action suit in a New York court against five international banks: HSBC, Barclays, Bank of Nova Scotia, Deutsche Bank, and Societe Generale. He alleges that these banks are involved in illegal manipulation of something that they do twice every working day.
