"Birdman" is a 2014 film about an actor trying to shrug off the burden of being known only for his role as a superhero named 'Birdman'. Though shot like most other films, the film has been edited to give a certain effect, which inevitably brought comparisons with the famous Alfred Hitchcock film "Rope".

The film feels as if it has been shot in one long, uninterrupted take (at least most of it). "Rope" had a similar concept.
