The term ‘Project Nilgiri’ was in news in the second week of September 2015. It is a joint collaboration between ‘world's seventh largest commercial or utility employer’ and an entity who once advised us ‘Don’t be evil’.

Under this project, aim is to provide free Wi-Fi services at some ‘special public places’. Users will be able to access high speed internet for the first 30 minutes by using One Time Password (OTP) generated for this purpose. After 30 minutes, the speed will drop considerably.
