"Les objets ______, forme, hasard et dimension", which was applied to such diverse areas such as the coastline of Britain, the darkness of the night sky, the structure of lungs, etc. Who is this mathematician, and what word did he invent? Incidentally, his middle initial is "B", which doesn't stand for anything!
