The final of this year's Ryobi Cup (Australia's domestic one day cricket competition) ended in an exciting tie between South Australia and Tasmania, with the former being declared champions on the basis of finishing higher in the league phase. Tasmania, chasing, needed 2 off the last ball, but could only manage a single off a bye.
