This annual 'medical' event (considered fishy by many experts) usually begins from the day of Mrigishira Karti (which falls in the first half of June). This year's event was held at the Katedan indoor stadium in Hyderabad. Sadly, there was such a rush that a stampede took place, resulting in a few casualties.
