This doodle is a tribute to the poet and artist, Edward Lear, who is probably best known for his nonsensical limericks. Lear, also an illustrator of animals, was born in 1812 and so fans are commemorating his two hundredth anniversary. This doodle depicts one of his best known poems, The Owl and the Pussycat.
