"Oh, What a Lovely War!" is a famous British musical play created by Joan Littlewood and others. It premiered in 1963 at the Theatre Royal Stratford East in London, and went to Broadway in the US in 1964.
Fifty years later, the play is being revived for the British stage: it will be staged again at the Stratford Theatre in February 2014. For what reason is it being revived?
